The industry's first dual-cartridge inkjet under $200 — Lexmark 2030 colour Jetprinter — is launched.

April 21 1997
The industry's first inkjet capable of printing 1,200 x 1,200 dpi is announced — Lexmark 7000 colour Jetprinter, which used the Lexmark Excimer laser cut printhead nozzles.
